Hi Katie. The cake was delicious! Everyone commented on how moist the sponge was and how boozy the fruit cake was! Tasted like a real cake, very homemade feel. They loved the decor and theme, especially Shirley. It looked FAB and certainly had that WOW factor we were after. Our Managing Director said if fitted his brief of: We will need a super cake to be made - can you suggest something special? Her time here is 29 years. Using colour icing was commented on, making it less like a wedding cake or formal cake, more a celebration! We took lots of photos, so I will send some to you for use on your website. It was very appreciated by Shirley going down the gluten free route and I was surprised at the taste and texture - if you didnt know, you would not notice the difference. Very, very pleased I called you last Friday and as you promised, we were not disappointed. Many, many thanks for all you efforts and hard work, very much appreciated.
